Sail4th 250
Sail4th 250 is a multi-city tall ship tour commemorating America’s Semiquincentennial in 2026, with historical ties to Operation Sail (OpSail), a nonprofit established in 1961 by maritime historians and endorsed by President John F. Kennedy. OpSail was founded to foster international goodwill, celebrate maritime heritage, and promote sail training through gatherings of the world’s tall ships, beginning with its debut at the 1964 New York World’s Fair.

The 2026 event will bring together more than 60 international tall ships from over 20 nations, along with 40+ U.S. and allied naval vessels, including a British aircraft carrier and Cunard’s Queen Mary 2. The highlight will be the International Parade of Sail on July 4, featuring ships passing the Statue of Liberty and sailing up the Hudson River, accompanied by 100 aircraft led by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels.

Joel Iskowitz
Joel Iskowitz, a highly regarded numismatic artist with a distinguished career, has had 54 of his designs struck as coins or Congressional medals by the United States Mint. Among his most notable works is the New Frontier Congressional Gold Medal, awarded to the Apollo 11 astronauts and astronaut John Glenn. His artwork has also been featured by prestigious institutions including the Smithsonian, the Pentagon, and NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

These rounds represent the final chapter of his remarkable career. We are honored to have collaborated with such an exceptional talent and pay tribute to his enduring legacy of preserving and celebrating American history through visual art.
